The corrosion rate is less than 0.025 mm/a. The highest temperature of M400 continuous working in air is generally about 600 C. In high temperature steam, the corrosion rate is less than 0.026 mm/a. Ammonia: Because of the high nickel content of Monel 400 alloy, Monel Gas-Liquid Mesh Filter can resist the corrosion under anhydrous ammonia and ammoniation conditions below 585 C.
