Galvanized Iron Wire

Galvanized Iron Wire is made by low carbon Steel Wire rods which is drawn in shape, then anneal in high temperature, hot-dip galvanized, cool down, etc.

Assortment: Hot-dip galvanized wire amd Electro-galvanized wire

Hot-dip galvanizing is immersion plating in hot melted zinc bath. The production speed is fast, the coating is thick but uneven, and the market allows a minimum thickness of 45 microns and a maximum of 300 microns or more. The color is darker, consumes more zinc metal, forms an infiltrated layer with the base metal, and has good corrosion resistance. The hot-dip galvanizing can be maintained for several decades in an outdoor environment.

Electro galvanizing is the gradual plating of zinc into the metal surface by current unidirectionality in the plating tank. The production speed is slow, the plating layer is uniform, the thickness is thin, usually only 3-15 microns, the appearance is bright, and the corrosion resistance is poor. It will rust in a few months.

Features: Galvanized Iron wire has the characteristic of high tensile and resilience, zinc coating uo to 300g/sqm, thick zinc coat, anti- corrosion, etc.

Hot-dip galvanized products are widely used in chemical equipment, petroleum processing, marine exploration, metal structures, power transmission, shipbuilding and other industries, such as pesticide sprinkler irrigation, greenhouses and construction industries such as water and gas transportation, wire casing, scaffolding, bridges, highway guardrails, etc., have been widely adopted in recent years.
